Get your doctor’s permission on everything first, of course, but some natural products that have helped my pain include: curcumin; fish oil; lavender epsom salt (in hot bath).
Hoka shoes have helped my foot pain (better than custom orthotics); and sun protective clothing is invaluable (since I have lupus).
One big key to improvement of my symptoms has been eating healthier. I start the morning with a combined drink of Zeal, Vitalproteins, fiber, and a gut supplement to help get me going. I add in more fruits and veggies throughout the day & I eat gluten- free, dairy-free, nightshade-free, & low sugar.
A few other things that help with my arthritis pain are LDN (need prescription); Voltaren and Biofreeze (both over counter).
I’ve had to adapt exercise types as my arthritis changes. Years ago it was Zumba and BodyPump (those were the healthier days); then walking on the track (before significant foot pain); then water aerobics (which a pandemic interrupted); and now yoga and Pilates. The important thing is not to give up. Moving is hard when you’re in pain, but it almost always helps.
